Small V-grooves require precision that gets harder to maintain as diameter decreases. The 920i1236C addresses this with a 90-degree included angle ground on a 3/16" diameter body, allowing access to tight spaces while maintaining the structural integrity needed for clean cuts.

The TiB₂ coating extends tool life in steel applications where heat buildup typically causes premature wear on uncoated carbide.
Four flutes provide good surface finish while the 0.0938" neck diameter offers clearance for deeper groove work.
The geometry is designed for steel, aluminum, and most machinable metals where consistent V-groove profiles are required.
Both cutting faces are held to matching tolerances so the resulting 90-degree angle stays consistent across production runs.
