110 Series

The 110 Series is Sonic's 3-flute solid carbide square end mill for steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys.

Three flutes sit between the chip clearance of a 2-flute and the edge density of a 4-flute. The geometry suits profiling and slotting passes where chip load needs to stay predictable and clearance needs more room than 4-flute geometry provides. In titanium and nickel alloys, wider chip channels reduce the thermal load per pass.

Coating options available for ferrous and difficult-to-machine materials.
