Hardened and high-strength steels, nickel-based alloys, titanium alloys
Built for heat. It holds up to 1000°C, and its low-friction surface cuts down wear.

Run it in
Steel, titanium alloys, Inconel
It handles high temperatures, cuts down wear and extends tool life. Keep it out of aluminum.

The ferrous version of every shape and profile mill we stock: chamfer, double angle, dovetail, engraving, corner rounding, spherical and keyseat cutters.

Aluminum doesn't stick to it, so the tool can run higher speeds and feeds.

Shop aluminum end millsFor abrasive materials. A CVD diamond layer resists wear, runs with low friction and carries heat away before it builds up.
For wear resistance in high-speed machining and drilling of hard materials.
Most tools are stocked coated. Uncoated versions are available with rapid delivery.

When a coated tool comes in for reconditioning, it goes back out recoated in one of four coatings: TiAlSiN, AlTiN, TiB2 or AlCrN.
Diamond isn't offered on reconditioned tools. If you need a coating outside those four, ask us.
