961 Series

The 961 Series is Sonic's solid carbide 300° spherical cutter, providing 30 degrees of additional undercut reach beyond the 960 Series.

Where the 960 Series handles standard undercut profiles past center, the 961 is selected when the feature requires deeper undercut and greater retention geometry. A

pplications include precision spherical retention joints, locking ball profiles, and undercut features where the 270° geometry cannot reach the full required profile angle.
