150 Series

The 150 Series is Sonic's 5-flute solid carbide end mill for steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys. It's built for finishing and semi-finishing passes where surface finish and edge life matter more than chip clearance.

The 150, 170, and 190 list the same diameters, corner radii, lengths, and coating, size for size; the difference in the specs is flute count. More flutes carry a higher table feed at the same chip load per tooth, and fewer flutes leave more chip room.

Sonic offers the 150 in TiAlSiN for hardened steels, nickel alloys, and titanium alloys. Sonic grinds every shank to h6 for precision holders and leaves a ground finish, not a polished one, so the shank resists slipping. Every tool is engraved with its lot number for traceability.
