190 Series

The 190 Series is Sonic's 9-flute solid carbide end mill for steel, hardened alloys, and nickel-based superalloys.

Nine flutes produce the lowest chip load per tooth in Sonic's end mill catalog at a given feed rate. This is a finishing geometry, not a roughing or slotting tool. Applications include precision finishing in hardened steel, superalloy profiling, and operations where surface finish targets cannot be held with lower flute counts.
