120 Series

The 120 Series is Sonic's 3-flute ball nose solid carbide end mill for steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys.

Ball nose geometry is correct for contoured surfaces, cavity milling, and radial features where a flat end mill produces steps. Three flutes distribute chip load across more cutting edges than a 2-flute design, an advantage in hard materials where chip load per tooth directly determines edge life.
