The 100 Series is Sonic's 4-flute solid carbide end mill for steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys. Four flutes are the standard geometry for profiling and finishing in these materials. Available in square end* and in corner-radius sizes R0.015"–0.125" (inch). For a knurled rougher, see the 100R.

Sonic offers the 100 in TiAlSiN for hardened steels, nickel alloys, and titanium alloys. Sonic grinds every shank to h6 for precision holders and leaves a ground finish, not a polished one, so the shank resists slipping. Every tool is engraved with its lot number for traceability.

*Sonic's square end mills carry a small R0.004"–0.008" (0.1–0.2 mm) radius that protects the corner from chipping.
