960 Series

The 960 Series is Sonic's solid carbide 270° spherical cutter for undercut pockets, partial sphere profiles, and retention features requiring reach past center.

The 270° geometry allows the cutter to machine past the equator of a spherical feature, producing undercut profiles in a single operation that would otherwise require multiple setups.

Applications include spherical retention features, ball-and-socket profiles, and undercut pocket geometry where a standard ball end mill cannot reach the full required profile.
