Tool 100Ci188LFA

Small diameter end mills in hard alloys break when you look at them wrong. The 100Ci188LFA puts TiAlSiN coating on solid carbide to extend tool life in steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys where heat builds fast in tight spaces.

  • Four flutes keep cutting forces balanced on the 0.1875" diameter.
  • Chipbreaker geometry fractures chips before they pack the flutes or weld to the cutting edges.
  • The R0.004" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge without sacrificing detail work or sharp internal corners.
  • TiAlSiN coating handles the thermal cycling better than uncoated carbide when you cannot flood coolant into small features.
  • Heat dissipation matters more as diameter drops and surface speed becomes limited by spindle RPM rather than cutting speed.
