  • TiAlSiN coating runs cooler than standard TiAlN coatings and holds up better against the abrasive wear you get in steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys.
  • The coating also reduces friction during chip evacuation, which becomes critical at this 5" cutting diameter where chip volume increases substantially.
  • Four flutes balance material removal with chip clearance.
  • The R0.1" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge without sacrificing sharpness, reducing microchipping that can lead to premature tool failure in interrupted cuts or varying material hardness.
