Tool 100Ri125A
Small diameter roughers break. The loads are high, the tool is thin, and heat builds fast in tight spaces. The 100Ri125A addresses this with TiAlSiN coating over solid carbide. The aluminum in the coating forms a protective oxide layer at cutting temperatures, keeping heat out of the substrate where it causes premature failure.
- Four flutes with chipbreaker geometry along each cutting edge fragment chips before they can pack in the narrow flute gullets.
- That 0.004" chamfer strengthens the cutting edge against the kind of impact loading that snaps smaller tools.
- You're not babying feeds and speeds to keep it alive.
- Built for steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys where you need aggressive stock removal in confined areas.
- The surface won't be ready for inspection.
- Bring a finisher for that.
