Roughing at 3/8 diameter means finding the line between aggressive cuts and tool life. The 100Ri375 runs that line without crossing it. This 4-flute solid carbide rougher handles steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys through chipbreaker geometry that fragments material before evacuation becomes a problem.

The uncoated substrate keeps things simple.
No coating means no delamination concerns when interrupted cuts generate thermal cycling.
The 0.006" chamfer reinforces the cutting edge where impact loads concentrate - small enough to maintain sharpness, large enough to prevent microchipping on entry.
Four flutes balance metal removal rate against chip clearance in the smaller envelope.
