Tool 100Ri750LA

Heat buildup kills tools faster than feed rates in hard materials. The 100Ri750LA addresses this with TiAlSiN coating over chipbreaker geometry. The coating's aluminum content forms a barrier layer that keeps cutting temperatures manageable while the silicon adds wear resistance when machining abrasive alloys.

  • The chipbreaker design along each flute edge fractures chips before they can weld to the tool or pack the flutes.
  • Critical when you're hogging steel, iron, titanium, or nickel alloys at production rates.
  • The 0.008" chamfer strengthens the cutting edge without sacrificing bite, giving you consistent performance through longer runs.
  • Four flutes at 0.75" diameter gives you the balance between chip clearance and surface footage.
  • This isn't a finisher.
  • It removes material fast so your finishing tools can do what they do best.
