Heavy roughing cuts generate heat. The bigger the tool, the more material you're moving, and the more thermal stress builds up in the cutting zone. This 6" diameter rougher carries TiAlSiN coating specifically because aluminum content in the coating forms a protective oxide layer at cutting temperatures, keeping the carbide substrate cooler during sustained material removal.

The chipbreaker geometry along each flute edge fractures chips before they can weld to the tool or pack the gullets.
Four flutes provide better balance on a tool this size while maintaining chip evacuation space.
The 0.15" chamfer strengthens each cutting edge against impact loads and extends tool life when taking full-width roughing passes in steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys.
This isn't a finishing operation.
Load it appropriately for material removal, then follow with your finisher.
