Tool 100Rm100A

The 100Rm100A is a 10mm 4-flute rougher from the 100R Series, for full-depth roughing in steel, iron, titanium and nickel alloys. Length of cut is 20mm (2x diameter), the stiffest option in the 100R Series at this size.

The roughing profile breaks the chip into short segments, so each part of the edge carries less load and the cut vibrates less in harder materials.
Lower cutting forces let you run more radial and axial engagement than a standard end mill before chatter starts.
The end is center cutting, so you can ramp and plunge.
Sonic shapes the roughing profile so you can raise the feed rate while keeping recut down.
A 0.15mm x 45° corner chamfer improves corner life over a sharp corner.
The TiAlSiN coating is built for heat: it holds up to 1000°C and its low-friction surface cuts down wear.
