Tool 100Rm200A

Heavy roughing cuts generate heat that kills tools before you clear the material. The 100Rm200A handles this with TiAlSiN coating over solid carbide. The aluminum content in that coating pulls heat away from the cutting edge while the silicon nitride layer resists oxidation at temperature. You get extended tool life in steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys where heat buildup typically ends the cut early.

  • The 4-flute design with chipbreaker geometry fractures chips before they pack the flutes or drag heat back into the workpiece.
  • That 0.2" chamfer strengthens the cutting edge against shock loads while maintaining chip formation.
  • The surface finish won't be pretty.
  • That's what the finisher is for.
  • This tool removes material fast without thermal failure.
