The 0.015" corner radius on this 5/16" end mill spreads that stress across a wider contact patch, which translates to longer edge life in interrupted cuts and rough stock conditions.

Four flutes keep the cutting forces balanced as you push through steel and iron.
Each tooth takes a smaller bite, so heat buildup stays manageable even when you need to maintain feed rates.
The TiAlSiN coating adds wear resistance without building up material on the edge.
Particularly useful in titanium and nickel alloys where built-up edge can turn a good cut into scrap.
