  • Three flutes give the chip clearance needed when heat management trumps material removal rate.
  • The R0.004" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge against the kind of microfractures that kill small tools in interrupted cuts or when entering hardened zones.
  • In thin-wall titanium or when profiling stainless components, this geometry stays predictable where a sharp corner would deteriorate.
  • The uncoated substrate runs clean in applications where coating buildup would interfere with tight tolerances or fine surface finishes.
