When you're running 1/8" tooling in titanium or stainless, heat buildup happens fast. The 110i125LFA is a 3-flute solid carbide end mill designed to manage that heat through chip evacuation rather than raw cutting speed.

  • The TiAlSiN coating handles the thermal cycling that comes with interrupted cuts in work-hardening alloys.
  • Three flutes give you the chip clearance to maintain cutting fluid flow where four-flute designs would pack up.
  • The R0.004" corner radius eliminates the sharp edge that tends to chip out under the strain of titanium's work-hardening characteristics.
  • In steel and iron, the geometry runs clean passes without the chatter you get from inadequate chip clearance.
  • In nickel alloys, the coating extends tool life when heat management becomes the limiting factor rather than cutting forces.
