110 Series

Tool 110i156LA

In small diameter cuts, edge chipping kills more tools than wear. The 0.004" corner radius on this 110i156LA strengthens the cutting edge without compromising sharpness in fine detail work.

  • The 110 Series runs three flutes instead of four because heat matters more than feed rate when you're working stainless, titanium, or nickel alloys at 0.1563" diameter.
  • The TiAlSiN coating adds temperature resistance and lubricity where conventional flood coolant struggles to reach.
  • In tight pockets or thin-wall sections, that combination of chip evacuation and thermal protection keeps the cut predictable.
  • The corner radius also extends tool life in interrupted cuts.
  • Small endmills see plenty of those, and the reinforced edge handles entry shock better than a sharp corner.
  • Works well in steel and iron applications where you need clean finishes without the brittleness of a fully sharp edge.
