The 110m030A is a 3" diameter, 3-flute solid carbide end mill for steel, iron, titanium, and nickel alloys.
Three flutes provide the chip clearance needed to manage heat buildup at this diameter, where four flutes would pack chips and retain more heat.
The TiAlSiN coating adds thermal barrier properties and wear resistance without building up on the workpiece.
The R0.1" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge and reduces stress concentration that can lead to chipping under the higher cutting forces these large diameter operations generate.
