The 120m060A is a 6mm 3-flute ball nose from the 120 Series, for contoured surfaces and cavities in steel, iron, titanium and nickel alloys. Length of cut is 12mm (2x diameter), the stiffest option in the 120 Series at this size.

On contoured surfaces and radial features, the ball leaves a small scallop you size with your stepover, where a flat end mill leaves steps.
At the same feed rate and spindle speed, three flutes take a thinner chip per edge than a 2-flute ball, which matters in hard materials, where chip load per tooth decides edge life.
The ball radius is 3mm, and Sonic grinds its profile to a lineform accuracy of 0.005mm (0.0002").
The end is center cutting, and Sonic shapes the center to reduce marking on the part.
The TiAlSiN coating is built for heat: it holds up to 1000°C and its low-friction surface cuts down wear.
