The TiAlSiN coating extends tool life in high-temperature cutting conditions by maintaining hardness above 2000°F.
Three flutes provide balanced chip evacuation while maintaining sufficient cutting engagement for the curved geometry demands of 3D profiling and die work.
The rounded tip produces smooth surface transitions on large contours without the stepped marks left by flat-bottomed cutters.
At this diameter, the coating becomes critical for managing the thermal loads generated during extended cuts in tough alloys.
