Tool 200Ci156C

The 200Ci156C is a 5/32" 3-flute chipbreaker end mill from the 200C Series, for deep pockets and full-width slots in aluminum. Length of cut is 0.3125" (2x diameter), the stiffest option in the 200C Series at this size.

The chipbreakers cut the chip short before long, continuous chips can pack against the wall in a deep pocket or a full-width slot.
Sonic sets the chipbreaker pattern so you can run a higher feed rate than a smooth flute and still get a good wall finish.
The end is center cutting, so you can ramp and plunge.
A 0.004" corner radius holds up better than a sharp corner and leaves a 0.004" fillet where the wall meets the floor.
TiB2 resists aluminum sticking to the edge, so you can run higher speeds and feeds than with an uncoated tool.
