Tiny aluminum chips turn abrasive fast when they can't clear properly. The 200Ci156LC brings chipbreaker geometry to small diameter work where standard end mills pack with stringy material.

  • At 0.1563" diameter, chip evacuation becomes critical since there's less room for error.
  • The three flutes maintain cutting load distribution while chipbreaker notches segment aluminum, copper, and plastic chips before they weld to the tool.
  • TiB₂ coating adds a harder surface layer that resists the adhesive wear these materials cause at cutting edges.
  • The R0.004" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge compared to sharp corners while still maintaining clean entry into softer materials.
  • Built for slotting and profiling operations where chip control matters more than surface finish alone.
