Aluminum grabs uncoated carbide and builds up on the cutting edge. The 200Ci375LC applies TiB₂ coating to the proven 3-flute chipbreaker platform for aluminum operations where edge buildup kills surface finish.

TiB₂ reduces the chemical affinity between aluminum and the cutting edge.
This prevents the material welding that creates built-up edge and subsequent surface defects.
The chipbreaker notches still segment long chips before they pack the flutes, while three flutes maintain balanced cutting forces during deeper passes.
The R0.006" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge without sacrificing the sharp geometry aluminum requires.
Designed for slotting and profiling operations in aluminum, copper, and plastics where standard uncoated tools struggle with material adhesion.
