Tool 200Ci625C
Aluminum and copper create adhesion problems that build up on cutting edges and degrade surface finish. The 200Ci625C combines chipbreaker geometry with TiB₂ coating to address both chip evacuation and material adhesion in softer metals.
- Three flutes maintain productivity while the chipbreaker notches segment long chips before they wrap around the tool or pack the flutes.
- The TiB₂ coating provides a harder, more lubricious surface that reduces aluminum and copper welding to the cutting edge.
- This becomes particularly important in deeper slotting operations where heat and pressure increase adhesion tendencies.
- The R0.008" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge compared to sharp corner tools while still maintaining good edge definition for plastics work.
- Built for aluminum, copper, and plastic applications where standard geometry struggles with chip control and material sticking.
