Tool 200Cm030C
Aluminum chips get long and stringy in deeper cuts, especially at 3mm diameters where conventional tools struggle with evacuation. The 200Cm030C adds chipbreaker geometry to segment those chips before they wrap around the spindle or pack the flutes.
- Three flutes distribute cutting forces while the chipbreaker notches create controlled break points in the chip formation.
- TiB₂ coating reduces aluminum adhesion and built-up edge formation that typically occurs in these softer materials.
- The coating runs cooler than uncoated carbide while maintaining the sharp edge geometry aluminum requires.
- Corner radius of 0.1mm strengthens the cutting edge without creating the work hardening issues you get with larger radii in aluminum.
- Built for slotting and profiling operations in aluminum, copper, and plastics where chip control determines cycle time.
