Three flutes distribute cutting forces across a larger diameter while the integrated chipbreakers segment long aluminum ribbons before they can pack the flutes or tangle around the spindle.
The TiB₂ coating reduces built-up edge formation that typically occurs when aluminum welds to the cutting edge under heat and pressure.
Corner radius of 0.1 inches strengthens the cutting edge for sustained performance in interrupted cuts and provides better surface finish in slotting operations.
