Three flutes distribute cutting forces across a larger tool body while the chipbreaker notches segment those long aluminum ribbons before they pack around the spindle.
TiB₂ coating reduces adhesion when aluminum wants to stick and build up on cutting edges.
The coating runs cooler than uncoated carbide in extended aluminum cutting.
R0.1" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge against chipping while leaving a better surface finish than sharp corners.
