  • TiB₂ coating reduces built-up edge formation that aluminum creates when it welds to uncoated carbide under heat and pressure.
  • The coating maintains sharper cutting edges longer by preventing aluminum adhesion.
  • Three flutes distribute cutting forces while the chipbreaker notches segment chips into manageable lengths before they can pack the flutes or wrap the spindle.
  • The R0.1" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge against chipping while maintaining the sharp geometry aluminum requires.
  • Designed for aluminum, copper, and plastics where chip control determines cycle time more than cutting speed.
