TiB₂ coating adds lubricity without building up aluminum on the cutting edge.
The coating stays thin enough to preserve the chipbreaker geometry while reducing friction in the cut.
Three flutes distribute cutting forces across more edges, keeping individual chip loads manageable even at the higher feed rates that large aluminum parts demand.
The R0.1" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge against the impact loads common in interrupted cuts and slotting operations.
Chipbreaker notches segment those long aluminum ribbons before they pack the gullets or tangle in fixturing.
