Three flutes distribute cutting forces while the chipbreaker notches segment long aluminum ribbons before they can pack the gullets.
TiB₂ coating reduces built-up edge formation that typically occurs when aluminum welds to the cutting edge under heat and pressure.
The coating's low friction properties help chips slide away rather than adhering to the tool.
