Three flutes distribute cutting forces while the chipbreaker geometry segments chips before they can pack the tool or wrap the spindle.
TiB₂ coating adds wear resistance during extended aluminum cutting without building up edge deposits the way some coatings do.
The coating runs cooler than uncoated tools, extending tool life in continuous cuts.
The R0.15" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge against chipping while leaving a better surface finish than sharp corner tools.
