TiB₂ coating adds lubricity without building up material on the cutting edge.
Aluminum wants to stick to carbide, and this coating reduces that tendency while extending tool life in continuous cuts.
The three-flute configuration distributes heat while maintaining reasonable feed rates in softer materials.
R0.15" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge for deeper axial engagement and reduces chipping when entering the cut.
