Tool 200i188M010C
Small diameter aluminum work amplifies every setup mistake. Heat builds faster, chips pack tighter, and built-up edge forms before you notice the finish degrading. The tolerances don't forgive much at 3/16".
- The 200 Series uses three flutes to distribute cutting load while maintaining reasonable feed rates in aluminum, copper, and plastics.
- Lower chip load per tooth reduces adhesion tendencies that create built-up edge.
- High helix geometry moves chips out before they weld to the cutting edge.
- This 3/16" diameter end mill carries TiB₂ coating for demanding passes where standard uncoated tools wear too quickly.
- The R0.01" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge without sacrificing detail definition in tight radius work.
- TiB₂ handles the thermal cycling better than nitride coatings on aluminum.
