Tool 200i250LC
Quarter-inch work in aluminum means balancing speed with tool life. Too aggressive and you get chip welding. Too conservative and you're leaving time on the table. The setup needs to work with the material, not fight it.
- The 200i250LC is a TiB₂-coated 3-flute end mill designed for aluminum, copper, and plastics at 0.2500" cutting diameter.
- Three flutes distribute chip load across more cutting edges while maintaining feed rates that prevent built-up edge formation.
- The R0.006" corner radius strengthens the cutting edge without sacrificing sharpness, extending tool life in interrupted cuts and entry conditions.
- TiB₂ coating provides the hardness aluminum work demands without the chemical reactivity of AlTiN coatings.
- Heat stays in the chip, not the workpiece.
