The 200 Series is a 3-flute solid carbide end mill built specifically for aluminum, copper, and plastics.
Three flutes keep chip load lower per tooth while maintaining feed rate.
That's the actual mechanism behind built-up edge prevention, the mechanism, not a geometry preference.
High helix promotes chip evacuation before heat or adhesion becomes a factor.
This 4" diameter version carries TiB₂ coating for demanding passes where stock removal rates push thermal limits.
The R0.1" corner radius distributes cutting forces more evenly than a sharp corner, extending edge life in interrupted cuts and reducing the chance of microchipping at entry.
