Tool 200m060C

The 200m060C is a 6mm 3-flute end mill from the 200 Series, for slotting and side milling in aluminum. Length of cut is 12mm (2x diameter), the stiffest option in the 200 Series at this size.

Three flutes give you more cutting edges than a 2-flute end mill and still leave the chip room aluminum needs.
Sonic designs the flute to clear chips in slotting.
The end is center cutting, so you can ramp and plunge.
A 0.15mm corner radius holds up better than a sharp corner and leaves a 0.15mm fillet where the wall meets the floor.
TiB2 resists aluminum sticking to the edge, so you can run higher speeds and feeds than with an uncoated tool.
