The 220m040LFC is a 4" diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball nose end mill designed for aluminum, copper, and plastics.
The open flute geometry moves chips away from the cutting zone before they can reweld to the workpiece.
TiB₂ coating adds a thermal barrier that reduces heat transfer into the tool body while providing lubricity at the cutting edge.
This coating performs particularly well in aluminum applications where built-up edge formation is a concern.
