The 220m050LFC is a 5" diameter 2-flute solid carbide ball nose end mill for contouring and profiling in aluminum, copper, and plastics.
The TiB₂ coating provides a low-friction surface that helps aluminum chips slide away from the cutting edge rather than adhering to it.
Two flutes maintain maximum chip clearance even at this larger diameter, giving the swarf room to evacuate before welding occurs.
The geometry works particularly well for 3D profiling operations where consistent surface finish matters across varying engagement angles.
