The TiB₂ coating extends tool life in abrasive materials where uncoated carbide would wear quickly.
Two flutes provide good surface finish while maintaining rigidity in the small 0.01" tip diameter.
This geometry works across steel, aluminum, and most machinable metals without requiring program changes between materials.
