Single-pass chamfer geometry produces consistent edge breaks across steel, aluminum, and most machinable metals.
The included angle is held to tight tolerances, which matters when chamfer consistency feeds into assembly fit, sealing surfaces, or cosmetic requirements.
The 910i2018C runs a 0.025" tip diameter with three flutes and 45-degree angle per side.
TiB₂ coating extends tool life in harder steels while maintaining the sharp cutting edge needed for clean chamfers.
Three flutes balance surface finish with chip evacuation, particularly useful when working interrupted cuts or varying material hardness within the same workpiece.
