Tool 910i2409B

Sharp edges cut skin. Burrs catch on assembly fixtures. The 910i2409B eliminates both problems in a single pass through your program.

  • The 22.5-degree angle per side creates a 45-degree included angle that machines consistently across steel, aluminum, and most machinable metals.
  • Three flutes balance surface finish with chip evacuation when working the small geometries that a 0.03" tip diameter reaches.
  • AlTiN coating extends tool life in harder steels where heat buildup typically shortens uncoated carbide performance.
  • The coating also reduces galling when chamfering aluminum, particularly in higher-volume runs where built-up edge formation becomes problematic.
  • This geometry produces uniform edge breaks that meet drawing specifications without secondary deburring operations.
  • Parts come off the machine assembly-ready.
