AlTiN coating extends tool life in harder steels where heat buildup typically shortens uncoated carbide performance.
The coating also reduces galling when chamfering aluminum, particularly in higher-volume runs where built-up edge formation becomes problematic.
This geometry produces uniform edge breaks that meet drawing specifications without secondary deburring operations.
