The 920i1224C is a 60-degree double angle mill with four flutes and 0.1875" cutting diameter.
The TiB₂ coating provides wear resistance when machining steel and aluminum, extending tool life in production runs.
Four flutes balance surface finish with chip evacuation in softer materials like aluminum and harder steels where heat buildup becomes a concern.
The 60-degree included angle produces standard V-groove profiles in one pass.
Both cutting faces are ground to match within tight tolerances so the angular relationship remains consistent across multiple parts.
The reduced neck diameter allows access to features near walls or shoulders where standard end mills cannot reach.
