V-groove work gets tricky when you need precision on both faces and can't afford multiple setups. The 920i2448B cuts a complete 120-degree profile in one pass, eliminating the alignment issues that come with sequential operations.

The 120-degree included angle handles most standard V-groove applications while the six flutes provide smooth surface finish in steel and titanium.
The 0.25" neck diameter gives clearance for deeper groove work without tool interference.
AlTiN coating extends tool life when cutting steel by reducing heat buildup at the cutting edge, which matters more on double angle tools since you have twice the contact area generating heat.
The geometry is held to tight tolerances across both cutting faces so the resulting profile stays consistent part to part.
Works well in steel, titanium, and most machinable metals.
