The 930i1648C uses a 120-degree included angle with sharp corners to generate clean trapezoidal profiles in aluminum and most other non-ferrous metals.
The 0.0984" neck diameter provides clearance for deeper undercuts while maintaining rigidity at the 0.25" cutting diameter.
Two flutes balance chip evacuation with cutting smoothness in the restricted geometry.
TiB₂ coating extends tool life in the high-friction conditions typical of dovetail operations.
The coating's low coefficient of friction reduces heat buildup when cutting in confined spaces where chip evacuation is limited.
