Dovetail features can't be cut from above. The 931i2418B is a solid carbide dovetail mill for workholding slots, T-slot prep, and undercut profiles where the included angle and a corner radius at the dovetail root are both required.

The R0.01" corner radius reduces stress concentration at the root of the dovetail profile, which matters in fatigue-sensitive workholding applications.
Three flutes provide good surface finish in steel and aluminum while maintaining chip evacuation in the confined geometry of undercut profiles.
AlTiN coating extends tool life when machining steels by providing thermal barrier protection at higher cutting temperatures.
The 0.1969" neck diameter offers clearance for deeper dovetail cuts while maintaining rigidity at the 0.375" cutting diameter.
Works in steel, aluminum, and most machinable metals.
