Three flutes balance surface finish with chip evacuation in the confined geometry.
TiB₂ coating extends tool life in steel and aluminum by reducing built-up edge formation and adhesion.
The coating particularly helps when cutting sticky aluminum alloys where uncoated carbide tends to load up.
The 0.1969" neck diameter provides clearance for the dovetail geometry while maintaining rigidity during side cutting operations.
